Repórter Brasil was established in 2001 with the aim of tackling human rights violations in supply chains and work places across Brazil. Through its development of a system to monitor supply chains - combining thorough investigations with analysis of social, labor and environmental issues in trade relations - Repórter Brazil has become a leading source of information on human rights and slave labor in the country.

By following the supply chains of large economic sectors, Repórter Brasil links on the ground violations with major national and international brands. Its investigative journalism and research is being used by business and public sector leaders to enforce human rights compliance in supply chains.
